The Provincial Perinatal Substance Use Program (PPSUP), BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre, PHSA invites you to attend the Connecting the Dots through Innovative Care Approaches Across the Perinatal Substance Use Continuum October 28 – 30, 2024, in Richmond, BC.
Supporting birthers impacted by substance use requires collaboration and coordination across healthcare, social services, legal, and policy sectors.
Coming together over three days will provide an opportunity to learn about perinatal substance use data and issues, best practice, and network to collectively to advance the continuum of care for pregnant and/or parenting people using substances.
The work done at the BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre (BCWH), takes place on the unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlí̓lwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-waututh) Nations who have cared for and nurtured the lands and waters around us for all time. PHSA provides specialized health care services to communities across British Columbia, on the territories of many distinct First Nations.
